Abstract
The material ratio has an important effect on printing performances for 3D cement printing technology, which is studied by uniform design in this paper. The factors required to be taken into account are the proportions ofthe additives; then, the observed indices are flow properties, geometric distortion, and mechanical properties. By nonlinear regression analysis, relation equations between the above factors and the observed indices are established, which will reveal the main effect and interaction of the factor(s) in detail. Furthermore, the equations can approximately predict printing performances in the future. Finally, the ratio is optimized by multi-objective optimization. The optimal ratio is applied to both experiments and regression equations for comparison afterward. The experimental results show that the optimal ratio can contribute to superior printing performances. The relative error is limited to 16%, which can prove the applicability of regression analysis. The complete process can guide similar research in the future.
