Abstract

Various carbon concrete structures were produced using the innovative additive manufacturing method. The special feature discussed in this article is the use of carbon reinforcement with mineral impregnation, which makes it possible to improve the bond to the concrete matrix and exploit the full potential of digital manufacturing in terms of geometric freedom. After the presentation of the 3D printing process used and the impregnation of the reinforcement, the different possibilities of reinforcement integration are discussed. The results of the mechanical tests on the test specimens produced using the preferred manufacturing method are then discussed, including CT images. The technology developed has the potential to make the construction process more efficient and environmentally friendly.
